GIMP Quick tips:
- To change the colour of something, select a new layer, set blend mode to colour, and paint in the new colour. Reduce opacity until it looks natural. Hardest part is getting the initial selection right.
- Contrast Masking. Helps reduce highlights in image. Duplicate Layer,10-30 pixel gaussian blue, desaturate, layer mode to overlay, adjust opacity if needed.
