I’ve only just noticed ….
The item Admitting Defeat? has been top of your page for ages, and ages, and ages. I knew you had other things to do as well as entertain the wider world via your blog, and you had set a precedent with your ‘Two Months between Entries’ item, so I just thought you were busy in other areas.
The result was that every time I checked your blog and saw the headline Admitting Defeat? I went no further.
Today, for a reason I didn’t note, I saw that there were later entries, but they were off the screen. They are ordered ‘latest at the top’ so it seems that’s your intended natural order.
Did you realise ‘Admitting Defeat?’ was pinned at the top?
It’s not a choice I would make, but it’s your blog 
I now realise work hasn’t taken over your life completely, even spotted a bit of Dakar relaxation creeping in there!
