Brit Turns Land Rover Into Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

“Car enthusiast and devoted husband Nick Pointing fulfilled his wife’s love of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang by building a real-life version of the fantasy car. Nick, 41, spent four years transforming his old Land Rover into his wife’s dream car, using a 1968 Corgi toy car as a guide for his measurements, complete with fold-out wings.”

The world would be a dull, dull place without people like Nick.

    I know, I must stop commenting on my own posts, but there was a detailed write up on the build in this month’s Land Rover Owner International.
